On Friday the 29th. of December the Coldwater
Curling Club hosted their second annual "Lake Spiel". The spiel
is organized by a number of lake- side residents, chiefly Ken and Francine
Albrough.
Teams represent local lakes where either their
cottages, homes or favourite vacation spots are located.
Kari Smith skipped an all ladies team to win
this year's bonspiel.
Kari was ably assisted by Alice Dowswell, Brenda
Greenwood and Karen Stiles.

Alice's farm borders Bass Lake and the winner
engraved on this year's trophy will be 'Bass Lake'.
